Come on a journey to a spot outside the Old City wall of Jerusalem’s Jaffa
Gate. Look carefully within the cross, and you’ll find the imagery of the
Saviour’s wounded heel and the serpent’s shattered head.
Find the words, hidden in the pavement, that speak about a new life of
walking in the light, of fellowship with God and one another, beyond the
cross. In the centre, beside a broken idol of self are symbols of discarded
things - infirmity, pretense and addictive influences. On the right, hyssop
(the symbol of cleansing), blooms around an olive tree into which a wild,
gentile branch has been grafted.
Lithographic reproduction using fade resistant inks on high quality art paper.
