How to Draw in 3D
Art Workshop 8b
Art Workshop 8b

Children learn from objects
and projected images about eye levels, distance and relative size. They then
each produce a linear perspective drawing, which they complete with
sketching pencils. In the process children discover light and shade and
atmospheric perspective by controlling tonal density.
“Really helpful. Children looked at objects in a new way, saw how they
tapered into the distance and found out about vanishing points. They then
applied this knowledge to their own drawings using rulers.” Brenda Nelson,
Riverina School.
